Gadget Heaven

Yesterday my black 60GB video iPod arrived from Amazon. I am in Seventh Heaven. It's sleek, slim, lightweight, colourful and multifunctonal. iTunes Music Store offers free vodcast downloads some of which are quite funny and fine to watch on a small screen.

People always complain about Microsoft being such a monopolistic company, but guys, really, Apple is just as bad when it comes to screwing their customers. I love my iPod but I was not glad to see that it doesn't even come with an AC adapter or cradle. This is the most expensive iPod available and they couldn't even throw that in with the package? Other MP3 manufacturers do. Now I have to spend $30 on a new cradle and my remote control for the 2G ipod I had no longer fits as Apple changed the input/output sockets. That kind of sucking-even-more-money-out-of-customers tricks are just as bad as any built in software in Windows as far as I am concerned!

But I love the ipod so I'll buy the $30 dollar rubber case that fits it snugly to protect it and get a new remote and a cradle and a car charger... it's just like having a high-maintenance girlfriend really
