Coincidence?
OK, this is really weird. Only yesterday I was talking to someone about the fact that their house had been broken into and that the worst thing that was stolen was not the Apple Powerbook but a Freitag bag containing a Moleskine notebook full of 3-years worth of ideas. Irreplaceable. Mid 2004 I lost a Moleskine notebook full of ideas. I searched high and low for it for two years - lamenting all the ideas I'd lost and frustrated at the unexplained disappearance.
Of all the days, just hours after discussing someone else's Idea-Moleskine disappearance, this morning I turned my sportsbag upside down to shake the clothes out of it and out pops the Moleskine! It had been hiding in the seams for over two years, even surviving my house move last year.
Welcome back little Moleskine. Welcome back ideas!

Strange! I told you about that time a friend of mine left his bag on a bus, right? Hours later we took another bus to go and report it missing and it turned out be on that specific bus. Totally weird, considering the number of buses that drive around The Hague, and the fact that the driver should have stored it at the terminal.

Great that you found it again!
I always buy a big diary so i can write down anything i find interesting: ideas, quotes, ponderings, things that bug me. This year I treated myself to one of those Paperblank diaries that look like an old bound book. It makes me happy everytime i pick it up and the added bonus is I can recall the day I wrote the stuff down (ofcourse my stream of ideas is not so ever overflowing that I need all the pages, for you creative types a moleskin would undoubtedly be better).
Here’s a thought: maybe blogs are the new Moleskins.
