Battle of the Gigabytes

lacieThis evening Merel and I were trying to work out a good back-up system for our respectives gigabytes worth of digital photos, music and documents and ended up in a storage battle. Who had the most gigabytes?

Merel:

  • 80 GB external Lacie
  • 250 GB external Lacie
  • 160 GB internal HD1 in G5
  • 500 GB internal HD2 in G5
  • 160 GB internal in MacBook Pro

    • Suzanna:

  • 80 GB external crap disk
  • 120 GB mobile Lacie Porsche design
  • 250GB WD NetDisk
  • 160 GB external Lacie Porsche design
  • 160 GB external Lacie Porsche design
  • 160 GB external Lacie Porsche design
  • 160 GB internal in G5
  • 250 GB internal in G5
  • 80 GB internal in Vaio

      Ehm… If I don’t count my partner’s PC (which has a pretty modest storage capacity btw), I have 160 GB of storage total (120 in my PC, 20 in one of those really cheap external boxes for backups and another 20 in my downloads/TV PC). Damn.
