Panasonic Lumix FX07

Gadgetgrl has acquired another object of desire. Well, it's no longer desired coz I've got it. The Panasonc Lumix DMC-FX07. I have had a Canon G3 for nearly four years now and it has proved to be a trusty steed of a camera which I am by no means resigning to the cupboard. But the G3 is quite bulky and now that I have Nokia E61 phone without a camera I really notice that I miss having a cam around for those unexpected sightings about town.

So the Lumix is now going to be in my pocket permanently. That's the idea anyway. Snapping shots for this blog perhaps, but also making short Quicktime movies as the quality of those is really very impressive for such a compact camera. I am still struggling with some off the settings on this. Using the flash really makes people look awful (me in particular as I get the yellow-around-the-eyes-Vitamin-C-deficiency-look going on big time). But then there's nothing a little Photoshop can't cure.
