Little Big Planet

The PS3 is so incredibly overpriced (or at least highly priced - it may be worth it but is still €600!) that I am not rushing out to buy one. However, the key to selling the consoles is of course making brilliant games that people are desperate to play because they look so good or are so sweet or so sick or so addictive. Preferably all of the above.

Alex Evans, a childhood friend of mine in England (still fondly referred to by my family as 'Little Alex') recently started a company, Media Molecule, with some other talented programmers and they are developing a game called Little Big Planet for PS3. I am still not exactly sure what the premisse of the game is, but this presentation below does give a taste of the impressive and also rather cute graphics they have incorporated. Some gamers are calling it Sony's saviour already!

Coincidentally, Alex is also the person who came up with the name Suzero, almost twenty years ago!
