Two Novels That Can Change A Teenager's Life…
This is my first attempt at a new blog post in aaagggeeesss. A new year - a new decade, in fact - seems like the right time to start writing somewhat regularly again. So I'll start small with a quote I found today on Ralloblog which is SPOT ON
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.

Hey Suzanna, was checking out websites of the people I follow on Twitter when I stumbled upon yours. I thoughrt I was the only ancient cow that read Ayn Rand. Yes you are so right about her. I only found out later as I got older that she was a rightwing extreme liberal. But at the time I was grabbed by the story. Thanks for the trip on memorylane!
